Ward Two on the Web

One of our four political districts, Ward Two comprises the southeastern quadrant of the City of Norwood. Ward Two is home to Rookwood Commons, one of the nation’s most successful shopping centers; Stones Lanes, one of the region’s oldest bowling lanes; the soon-to-be-newly renovated Surrey Square Shopping Center; and Huber Lumber, Norwood’s iconic hardware store and lumber yard. Ward Two is where some of Norwood’s finest housing stock can be found as well as the outstanding Williams Avenue Grade School, part of the highly regarded Norwood City School District.

For the residents of Ward Two, this website is designed to keep you up to date on events and activities that affect where you live, drive, walk and play. Use it to stay connected with your community through your government representatives, including your Ward Two representative Norwood City Council, Steve Thornbury. Learn more about the volunteer organizations here in Norwood that are working to make this an even better place to live that you can support through donations of time and money.
